1. Acceptance of terms

By accessing or using the FlowLeads platform (flowleads.co.za), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform.

2. Description of service

FlowLeads is a solar quote lead generation platform. We provide:

• An AI-powered solar savings estimate based on user-provided data and publicly available solar irradiance data.
• Matching between homeowners and SAPVIA-registered solar installers in South Africa.
• Educational content about solar energy in South Africa.

FlowLeads is not a solar installer and does not guarantee any specific outcome from the use of our platform. All quotes provided by installers are subject to site surveys and individual installer terms.

3. Accuracy of estimates

The savings estimates, system size recommendations, and payback calculations provided by FlowLeads are estimates based on modelled data (PVGIS irradiance, tariff data, and standard system assumptions). They are not guaranteed outcomes.

Actual solar performance depends on site-specific factors including, but not limited to: shading, roof orientation, actual tariff changes, system quality, and maintenance. FlowLeads does not accept liability for discrepancies between estimates and actual outcomes.

4. User obligations

• You must provide accurate information when requesting a quote.
• You must be the owner or authorised occupant of the property for which you are requesting a solar quote.
• You must be 18 years of age or older.
• You may not use the platform for any fraudulent, illegal, or harmful purpose.
• You may not submit multiple quote requests for the same property with false details.

5. Installer matching and liability

FlowLeads facilitates introductions between homeowners and solar installers. We verify that matched installers hold SAPVIA registration and carry appropriate insurance at the time of listing.

FlowLeads does not assume any liability for:

• The quality, timeliness, or safety of work performed by any installer.
• Contractual disputes between you and an installer.
• Any financial loss arising from an installer's actions or omissions.

We recommend you obtain a SANS 10142-1 Certificate of Compliance and verify your installer's current SAPVIA membership before proceeding with any installation.

6. Intellectual property

All content on the FlowLeads platform — including articles, tools, data models, and code — is the intellectual property of FlowLeads (Pty) Ltd (Reg: 2026/365638/07) or its licensors. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without written permission.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by South African law, FlowLeads and its directors, employees, and contractors are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform.

Our total liability to you for any claim arising from use of the platform is limited to the amount you paid FlowLeads in the 12 months preceding the claim (which is zero for users of the free quote service).

8. Governing law

These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of South Africa.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the platform after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. Material changes will be communicated by email to registered users.
