Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of terms

By accessing or using the FlowLeads platform (flowleads.co.za), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform.

2. Description of service

FlowLeads is a home-services quote lead generation platform. We currently cover solar & backup power, plumbing, electrical work, and security installation in South Africa. We provide:

• An AI-powered savings or scope estimate based on user-provided data and publicly available reference data (where applicable, e.g. solar irradiance data for solar quotes).
• Matching between homeowners and vetted local service providers, each registered with the relevant South African industry body — SAPVIA for solar installers, IPSASA for plumbers, the Department of Employment and Labour for wiremen / electricians, and PSiRA for security installers.
• Educational content covering each of the home-services categories we support.

FlowLeads is not itself an installer, plumber, electrician or security service provider and does not guarantee any specific outcome from the use of our platform. All quotes provided by matched professionals are subject to site surveys and the individual professional's own terms.

3. Accuracy of estimates

Any savings estimates, system-size recommendations, payback calculations or cost ranges provided by FlowLeads are estimates based on modelled data (e.g. PVGIS irradiance and tariff data for solar; published cost benchmarks for other trades) and standard assumptions. They are not guaranteed outcomes.

Actual outcomes depend on site-specific factors including, but not limited to: site conditions (shading, roof orientation, plumbing layout, wiring condition), actual tariff or material-price changes, system or work quality, and maintenance. FlowLeads does not accept liability for discrepancies between estimates and actual outcomes.

4. User obligations

• You must provide accurate information when requesting a quote.
• You must be the owner or authorised occupant of the property for which you are requesting a quote.
• You must be 18 years of age or older.
• You may not use the platform for any fraudulent, illegal, or harmful purpose.
• You may not submit multiple quote requests for the same property with false details.

5. Service-provider matching and liability

FlowLeads facilitates introductions between homeowners and matched service providers. We verify that matched providers hold the relevant industry-body registration for their trade — SAPVIA for solar installers, IPSASA for plumbers, Department of Employment and Labour Wireman registration for electricians, and PSiRA for security installers — and carry appropriate insurance at the time of listing.

FlowLeads does not assume any liability for:

• The quality, timeliness, or safety of work performed by any matched provider.
• Contractual disputes between you and a matched provider.
• Any financial loss arising from a matched provider's actions or omissions.

Before proceeding with any installation, we recommend you obtain the relevant Certificate of Compliance (COC) — for example, SANS 10142-1 for electrical work, an electrical installation COC and EFCoC (electric fence) for security work, and an IPSASA-issued plumbing COC where required — and verify your service provider's current industry-body registration.

6. Intellectual property

All content on the FlowLeads platform — including articles, tools, data models, and code — is the intellectual property of FlowLeads (Pty) Ltd (Reg: 2026/365638/07) or its licensors. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without written permission.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by South African law, FlowLeads and its directors, employees, and contractors are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform.

Our total liability to you for any claim arising from use of the platform is limited to the amount you paid FlowLeads in the 12 months preceding the claim (which is zero for users of the free quote service).

8. Governing law

These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of South Africa.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the platform after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. Material changes will be communicated by email to registered users.
